Description

Have you ever wondered: What makes some individuals effective communicators, while others fall flat? And what can you do to connect more authentically with others so you can communicate clearly and persuasively?

Despite what you might think, the ability to effectively communicate doesn’t always come naturally. For many top performers, it’s a skill that’s been learned and honed over time in order to inspire and guide others. Fortunately, it’s a skill you too can learn – enabling you to better communicate and collaborate with your peers and subordinates, build trust and respect, and make your own voice heard.

In this course, you will examine the interpersonal communication concepts essential to building relationships and achieving success in the workplace. You’ll come to better understand your own personal communication style and how you can best connect with others. Both verbal and nob-verbal communication strategies will be explored, with the goal of helping you to build trust, create productive relationships, provide feedback and manage conflict. You will be required to complete a DiSC profile prior to the workshop that will serve as the framework for the course.
