Overview
If you’re a young professional, you may think you can’t lead a team because of your age or short tenure with your organization. However, your youth can actually be an asset. Company stakeholders know young professionals often bring a new energy, fresh ideas and perspectives, and technological competence to the table.
But in order to advance your career – and take the lead within your organization, you must understand the basic fundamentals of business leadership.
This program is designed to provide you with that knowledge and help you gain the edge you need to succeed. Through it, you’ll gain a detailed understanding of the key functions of leadership that are proven necessities to a highly successful career. Through a series of workshops, you can gain the information and resources you need to prepare for your next steps in your career.
Expectations
To obtain certification, participants are required to attend at least 8 out of the 10 workshops and the first and last workshops are required. We recommend that you attend all classes to take full advantage of the certification.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All professionals under the age of 35 with an interest in personal and professional development and community engagement are welcome.
