Description
The ACT test preparation course is only offered as a shortened extension of the SAT preparatory course and can be purchased at an additional rate of $195.
Many prospective college students will need or want to take the ACT exam in addition to the SAT. While the SAT tries to assess innate ability and test-taking skills, the ACT strives to assess knowledge acquired in high school classes.
In the ACT Workshop, participants will look at similarities between the Reading and Writing sections on both the SAT and ACT and learn how previously covered SAT strategies transfer to the ACT. Time will also be spent looking at specific Math topics that are covered on the ACT. Finally, participants will learn tips and strategies to tackle the Science section (content not covered on the SAT), which seeks to measure a student’s ability to apply scientific reasoning to his or her reading.
Who Should Attend
