Seminar Fees
Register early to ensure your place in the selected training seminar or workshop. Fees are posted for each seminar, however, please note that some programs have special registration procedures and requirements. These are posted on the program/seminar web page. Some online seminars may have different cancellation, withdrawal and/or refund policies. Check the program description for details and contact the Canisius CPD for any clarification that you may require.
Accepted Forms of Payment
The Canisius CPD accepts checks and online payment via PayPal. Receipt of full payment must be made in advance of the first day of the seminar/training program.
Individual Payment Plans
The CPD does not offer individual payment plans, however, should you have any questions regarding this, please contact the Executive Director at 716-888-8494.
Corporate Payments
If an individual is seeking their employer to pay for the seminar or training program, a purchase order (PO) must be provided to the Center for Professional Development in advance of the individual’s registration. If a PO is not available then written confirmation from the employer finance department authorizing the expense will be accepted.
Alternate Funding
The Center for Professional Development does accept alternate forms of payment such as Sallie Mae (Smart Option/Career Training Loans), POST 911-GI Bill, MyCAA, WIA/WOA (Including VocRehab and all workforce training grants) and other alternative funding. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the funding will cover the appropriate seminar.
General Cancellation Policy 2023
Class size is often limited, so participants are encouraged to register early or as soon as possible.
You must cancel in writing at least five business days prior to the program. The registration will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee.
Cancellations received less than five business days before the program begins are not eligible for a refund (illnesses or unavoidable events will be dealt with on an individual basis). No-shows will not be refunded.
Substitutions from the same company for the entire program will be permitted. Please notify the Canisius CPD at least 48-hours prior to make adjustments for materials with names. Please submit all requests via email to [email protected] or call 716-888-8494.

Canisius reserves the right to cancel and/or change the location and dates of seminars. If enrollment is inadequate, the seminar will be cancelled, the registrants notified, and a full refund will be provided.
