Overview
This second program is designed to provide young professionals with an advantage over their peers through a sharp focus on key functions of leadership that are proven necessities to a highly successful career. Through a series of workshops and networking events, participants will be provided with the necessary resources that will prepare them for the next-steps in their career.
Critical thinking and creativity in the workplace have become essential tools for success. The organizations that will survive the changing tides of commerce in the 21st century will be the ones that embrace the need for a new way of thinking and a better, more efficient way to solve problems. Understanding one’s own creativity and being able to think critically will help you to become a better leader today and initiate sustainable change for tomorrow.
Effective leaders need to be willing to continually grow and learn and in doing so be willing to take risks and lead by example. Learning the tools necessary to keep you on the competitive edge and keep your team or organization strong, innovative and able to obtain breakthrough thinking regularly, will provide exciting, effective and groundbreaking results. This workshop series will provide practical and immediately applicable critical and creative thinking tools that will strengthen your ability to be a change leader in any industry.
Networking
In addition to the program workshops, participants will have an opportunity to attend a series of networking events held at an offsite location. Each networking event is professionally facilitated so that all participants are engaged, building new skills and meeting other young professionals in the WNY community. Bring a guest! Who Should Attend
Any Young Professional Certificate Program Graduates who would like to continue to maintain and sharpen their skills.
Expectations
To obtain certification, participants must complete all 4 weeks of workshops.
