Overview

This second program is designed to provide young professionals with an advantage over their peers through a sharp focus on key functions of leadership that are proven necessities to a highly successful career. Through a series of workshops and networking events, participants will be provided with the necessary resources that will prepare them for the next-steps in their career. This is the third workshop in the Young Professionals Leadership Series.

Sound project management is not overhead. This four-day course provides participants with an overview of the essential elements of project management and the project management life cycle. Participants gain an understanding of the techniques and practice of project management; and gain practical experience with approaches to achieving successful project performance. In addition to the basics of project management, this course helps participants apply that knowledge to their own real-life scenarios. The instructor will work individually with each participant and collectively to apply project management.

Networking

In addition to the program workshops, participants will have an opportunity to attend a series of networking events held at an offsite location. Each networking event is professionally facilitated so that all participants are engaged, building new skills and meeting other young professionals in the WNY community. Bring a guest! Non-members can attend for just $10. Find out more!
